It has a unique cascading form with weeping branches around a stunning twisted trunk that provides winter interest. In early spring, very showy rose pea like flowers cover the branches before the foliage comes on. This creates a stunning pink purple umbrella like specimen. The large heart shaped foliage is dark green in the summer before turning yellow gold in the fall.
