To determine the total cost of a spell, start with the mana cost or alternative cost you're paying (such as a flashback cost), add any cost increases (such as kicker costs), then apply any cost reductions (such as that of Danitha Capashen's last ability)
To keep things true to that 99 box-opening ethos, pack assignment is also completely random, no weighing, no sorting, no considerations for light/heavy

The original Base Set (1999) featured 102 cards with 69 different Pokmon, including Charizard, Blastoise, and Venusaur
There are some very powerful cards to get from Extradimensional Crisis, like Buzzwole Ex, Pheromosa, Kartana, Luxray, Tapu Koko Ex, Zeraora, Shiinotic, Nihilego, Guzzlord Ex, Silvally, and Celesteela on the Pokemon side, with Repel, Electrical Cord, Gladion, and Lusamine all being decent Supporters or items too
This card is both a rare alternate art within the set, but it is also a quarter century secret rare
