A Note on Dice Rolling and Statistics Cards that require you to roll a die use the traditional dice from D&D
I once played a game where I ignored an attack by Pharika, God of Affliction, Wingmate Roc, the bird token, Siege Rhino, and several 1/1 deathtouch snakes for several turns in a row by just (massively) outpacing it with lifegain
The Azorius (white/blue) Up and Away and the Gruul (red/green) Earth Shakers finally manage to hit a nice balance between the complexity of 2021s and the welcoming introduction of the year before, to give us easily the best starter decks weve had in a long time
It's not a natural fit for many meta decks at the moment, but it's a powerful opportunity for card draw that's hard to ignore
If the decks are too weak, anyone using them will get stomped when they play against other players, especially those using higher-bracket Commanders, so finding the right balance with this product is difficult
They were only available at the Pokemon Centers in Japan, in January, 2024, for a very limited time and in very limited quantity
