I could only find one or two microscopic marks on the reel and there are no marks on the mounting foot so it may not have ever been fished

The guides are rather petite to accommodate the silk line of the day

the male ferrules are chestnut with honey and black tipping

The rod also features Per's 'micro' swiss style ferrules

This is the early first model reel, all gold anodized with stainless cross pillars. Excellent used condition with a bit of very minor rim rash to the frame edges and some faint marker on the underside of the foot where a previous owner has written the line weight (this should be removable). Very clean throughout. The drag adjuster is marked Seamaster Miami, Fla as well
