Lovely Hand-drawn Surveyor's Map #2: 100 Acres for Leven Waller, 1875 blue and brown though I doubt intentionalI always have an eye out for hand drawn maps, but it is a rare and happy moment to find one as charming as this, with little ink drawing of a house, pointing hand, and a bit of watercolor embellishment too. One of three listed today by a surveyor William A. Jones in the late 19th century this one showing a 100 acre plot surveyed in 1875 for an "Acy Leven Waller"as detailed at one end.
