Hand-Carved, Polychromed Mid-century (Not So) Miniature Bench artist signed postcard from what I understand isThis charming, not so small hand carved bench seems very much one of a kind to me, I'd think late 1960s or early 70s, perhaps inspired by the style of Creative Playthings toys and similar, which it feels like a folk version of to me. I believe it was carved of just two pieces of wood the arched back piece being one, and the front and legs the second. Painted polychomed black, green, and red, plus yellow for the arms, which reads pretty much like
