Very Fine Khal Mohammadi - D1715 Size_10 x 8 Hand-made in Kazakhstan from hand-spunSize 297 x 82cm, 9'9 x 2'8 ft Khal Mohammadi had a business as Master Dyer in the city of Kabul in Afghanistan around 180 years ago. He started to commission a much higher grade of Afghan carpet using traditional and more unusual Afghan tribal designs that he thought would die out if not reproduced at that time. The workshop eventually was taken over by his family after his death and continued in production until the end of WW2, when the ravages of
