The adapter connects and converts the transceiver's PTT line, ALC, and band data to work with the XPA125B. The amplifier will follow the transceiver's PTT, protect itself from overdrive using the ALC feedback loop, and, if enabled, will automatically select the band tuned by the transceiver.
